RENTAL CARS ON KAUAI

Most guests travel from the airport to the Cliffs Resort by rental car -- about a 30 mile drive from the Lihue Airport.

It's simple to arrange and pickup a rental car at Lihue Airport [LIH]. The counters are just across the street from baggage claim. Most agencies cars are just behind the counters meaning the total walk from baggage claim to rental car is a mere 300 to 1000 foot walk. Hint -- a party of two can have one person wait for baggage while the other stands in the car rental line.
