Dr. CHARLES S. HENRY Dr. Henry received his B.S. in Chemistry with honors from Missouri Southern State College in 1994 before receiving his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Arkansas. Dr. Henry's then spent 1.5 years as an NIH postdoctoral fellow in the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department at the University of Kansas. In 1999, Henry joined the faculty at Mississippi State University. In 2002, Dr. Henry relocated his laboratories to Colorado State University where he maintains an active research presence in the general field lab-on-a-chip devices.

DOUG JOHNSON At the conclusion of a successful 30 year career in high technology, Mr Johnson sought out startup companies based on university research where he could apply his background in business building and marketing. Today, Johnson works with several startup companies. He has taught Entrepreneurship at local universities, and was interim Director for the Fort Collins Technology Incubator. Johnson received a BSEE from Rensselaer Polytech and a MBA from Arizona State. He has authored a series of papers on CycloPraxis and is a national expert on why large companies struggle to maintain their early entrepreneurism.

BOB KALI Bob Kali is currently CFO for Chata Biosystems Inc, a privately held bioscience company engaged in research in the area of biological disinfectants and a provider of laboratory solutions to science based industrial companies. Since 2002, Bob has been consulting CFO for several Northern Colorado early stage, venture capital backed, technology based companies supporting them in financing strategies, general financial management, and business development (Indicative Software, Able Planet, Firefly Medical, PeakData). From 1982 – 1992, Bob held senior level corporate finance positions with Storage Technology Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, in corporate planning and treasury operations. In 1992, he developed and implemented the start-up business plan for StorageTek Financial Services Corporation, STK’s captive finance business and from 1993-2002 he led the growth of this business as its Chief Operating Officer. He later participated in its strategic sale to Keybank. Following this sale, Bob managed the company’s integration into Keybank as well as taking on global management responsibilities for this business throughout North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific regions. Bob is an Affiliate Faculty at Regis University teaching corporate finance and also holds the Certified Management Accountant designation. Bob holds an MBA in finance from New York University, a BA in economics from Colgate University. |

Dr. DALE WILLARD Dr. Willard received his B.S. in Chemistry from University of California at Davis in 1992 and his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Colorado State University in 1999. He has 5 years of Post-Doctorate Research experience specializing in bio-analytical chemistry. As a Post-Doctorate at the University of Tuebingen, Germany, Dr. Willard project managed a multi-million $ European Union funded project called the Automated Water Analyzer Computer Supported System (AWACSS) for two years. The project included ~35 scientists, engineers, environmental engineers, and marketers developing a multi-analyte water monitoring system. Currently, Dr. Willard is the Senior Research Scientist for AML and the Principle Investigator for 4 Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Science Foundation (NSF). He has 13 published peer-reviewed scientific papers, been awarded 5 federally funded grants, and actively serves as an expert peer-reviewer for 6 scientific journals. |

PHILIPPE DEKLEVA Mr. Dekleva received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1987 and his M.S in Materials Science and Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in 1992. He has over 20 years experience in product development in both the aerospace and medical instrumentation industries. Companies include Parker Hannifin Aerospace, NASA, Dako, and Colorado Medtech an engineering consulting firm specializing in medical devices and instrumentation. Project/product experience includes gas turbine fuel system design, managed custom applications for flow cytometry instrumentation and was part of a team to develop a fully automated immunoassay instrument.
