ICE FISHING Lake Granby, between Granby and Grand lake, has some of the largest lake trout in all Colorado. And the best way to catch one of those trout is through the ice in the winter months. There are other lakes as well, such as Shadow Mountain Lake, Wolford Mountain Reservoir near Kremmling, and the Williams fork Reservoir near Parshall that offer great ice fishing too.
