Golfing in the Colorado Mountains is a superb outing. No only with
you breath deeper, but at 8000+ elevation, your ball will go 15% farther
than at sea level. Golf will not be the only thing that catches your
breathe. Elk, deer, fox, ret-tailed hawks, protected wetlands, and
stunning mountain peaks are sure to inspire you. Golfing on any of Grand County's 4 full sized courses is a relative bargain. Prices are roughly 30 percent below other Colorado resort areas such as Vail, Dillon, and Steamboat. Play 18 holes for just $50 to $100 [depending on course, day, and season]. |
