DINING Kauai's fine dining establishments -- many in splendid locations -- are a class of Night Life all to their own. Visit our dining pages for best bets on the North Shore. The traditional Hawaiian Luau combines a delicious dinner and traditional dancing all in an exotic setting. It is an evening entertainment option not to be missed. Check here for a list of nearby Luau's. Reconfirm you Luau options when on Kauai. Most activity planners can book a Luau for you. |

PUB DRINKING We don't endorse drinking and driving so there is little in this section of our Night Life list. Within walking distance of the Cliffs Resort, you can find: - Princeville Hotel's "Living Room" [+music] - Bar at the Hanalei Bay Resort [+music] - Sabella's at the Pali Ke Kai Condos [+music] - Paradise Bar and Grill in Princeville Center - CJ's Steak House in Princeville Center Or buy a bottle of your favorite wine and enjoy a night under the stars on your own lanai at the Cliffs Resort. If you must... stop a local in Hanalei or Kapaa and ask for the favorite hangouts. |

SUNSETS When the weather cooperates, sunsets on Kauai are spectacular. You can enjoy fine views right from the lawn of the Cliffs Resort. Each promising evening, a few dozen gather on the lawn across from the Princeville Hotel and watch Mother Nature put on her show. A more romantic and elegant option is to head inside to the "Living Room" in the Princeville Hotel. Here you can sip your favorite libation while listening to classical piano or traditional Hawaiian music. |
